LAKE SPA PRACTITIONERS

WHY CHOOSE US - NATURAL THERAPY LEADERS

CHIROPRACTOR

Kieron Holland

Thank you for the opportunity to introduce myself. I graduated from Macquarie University in 1999. After Graduating, I went on to practice for ten years in the UK where I trained extensively in the technique of Chiropractic Biophysics; a technique focussed around postural and structural correction which is the most researched form of chiropractic in the world today.

I have recently joined the team at Lake Spa and I am keen to implement the many techniques learned whilst overseas for the improved care of the residents of the Central Coast. My goal is to help each patient achieve optimum health through Chiropractic, by helping them to restore their ideal posture and structure, which in turn ensures their nervous system functions to its maximum potential and their physical body is the best it can be.

I have always believed that your life path has been mapped out from the day you were born. Although, always having a keen interest in natural therapies, it wasn’t until my health took one of those detours in life’s journey, that I realised the benefits that natural therapies can ‘fully’ offer. I suppose I never really considered those rewarding opportunities, on a personal level, that this profession could offer either, until I experienced the benefits first hand. Therefore in 2003 I made the life ‘rewarding’ decision to leave a highly demanding job and commence studies in a new profession, as a massage practitioner. I feel blessed, to now be working in an industry and environment that continues to offer me, on a daily basis, a sense of fulfilment and achievement.
Observing clients, leaving my clinic room on a pathway to a restored state of well being and balance, is extremely rewarding.
Since obtaining my Diploma in Remedial Massage which incorporates Therapeutic Massage, Remedial Massage, Hot Stone Therapy, Sports Massage, Trigger Point and Ear Candling, I feel so fortunate and proud to be a part of this profession and being able to offer my professional services in such a caring and supportive environment. Taking a wholistic focus and interest in the health of my clients wellbeing, requires not only, a continued and ongoing learning approach, but also being part of a working environment with other professional practitioners here at Lake Spa.

I have always enjoyed the benefits of healthy living and exercise and have been involved in representative athletics and soccer. My passion is for healthy living and as such I have obtained a Bachelor Degree in Nutrition from Newcastle University 2008. Following a number of years working within the Health industry, I decided to diversify my experience and follow an interest in Massage, completing a Diploma of Massage in 2011. My philosophy is to provide professional service to clients, utilising intuitive therapy to treat the whole of the body.

Michelle's Health Tips

Michelle qualified as a registered Naturopath in 1995. After spending time in her clinic in Sydney she travelled overseas, studying Kinesiology in England and teaching Touch For Health courses in Ireland. She also spent 6 months in Africa spending some time with natural healers in remote villages in Zimbabwe and Tanzania. On returning to Australia Michelle resumed private practice in Sydney before moving to the Central Coast in 2003. She has over 7 years experience working in health food shops which has provided her with extensive knowledge of the many natural therapy products and supplements available.

With 2 children of my own I have a passion for children’s health and wellbeing. I have had extensive clinical experience with conditions like Type 11 Diabetes; thyroid problems; stress and adrenal exhaustion; eczema and psoriasis; irritable bowel and coeliacs disease; hormonal problems including menopause and polycystic ovarian disorder. And for weight loss you can’t beat the detail and motivation provided by the body composition test!
My aim is to raise awareness and help people gain a greater understanding of themselves. The more we know about ourselves, the more we can do for ourselves.
Finding the unique picture for each individual is the basis for understanding what will best suit a person and building on regular healthy lifestyle choices to aim for true wellness.
