| What you will learn in the training |
The Trigger Point Therapy Course is designed for you to enhance and refine your palpation skills. You will learn how to locate and treat trigger points in the skeletal muscles and in the muscle's fascia. Trigger Point Therapy can be easily incorporated into your treatment programs, especially your neck, shoulder and lower back routines. Trigger points are located through palpation (ie. by touch). You will learn and understand the predictable pain patterns of active trigger points and the role of latent trigger points in muscle dysfunction as well as detect the perpetuating factors which activate trigger points. Adding trigger point therapy as part of your treatment skills will increase your own knowledge of the body's muscular system, can speed up your clients recovery time and gain their confidence. This course will assist you to be a more knowledgeable and effective massage practitioners. |
