The Cranio Sacral system consists of the membranes of the central nervous system, their bony attachments to the cranial bones and the sacrum, and the cerebrospinal fluid which rhythmically moves within the Cranio Sacral system. Practitioners of Cranio Sacral Therapy use this rhythmic movement to identify restrictions both within the system and throughout the body's connective tissue.
